Discover Your World – Discover Africa
Day by day, Africa fills the newspapers. Unfortunately, the reason for all this editorial attention is not always cheerful: wars, corruption, famine, diseases... Of course, this is reality, but we want to show people an other, beautiful side of Africa, because we strongly believe that tourism can be one of the most important economic factors for prosperity in Africa. We decided to create a magazine, both in print and digital, with a strong focus on the most important reason why travellers want to visit Africa: the unique wildlife.
The name of the magazine relates to adventure and travels (safaris) that go far beyond your standard beach-holiday. Our goal is to publish an innovative, profound and unique magazine for the iPad and to create an element of awareness among its readers. In this way we want to encourage ecological, small-scale tourism. By bringing tourists in touch with local inhabitants of the various countries, we hope to create a sense of mutual understanding. It happens too often that tourists travel trough Africa in an ‘ivory tower’, i.e. the bus. There is a good chance that they sooner get closer to a lion than to the natives (besides from employees in lodges).
In our first iPad app we focus on the ultimate safari destination in Africa: the Northern Circuit of Tanzania. In our second iPad app we show you the beauty of Kruger National Park. Read, watch and discover.
Our third iPad app focusses on one purest safari destinations in Africa: Zambia.
